Call any vegetable...
Sep. 30th, 2020 12:41 pmNow that I have put two (not very evenly matched, but never mind) potatoes into the oven to bake for lunch, there is nothing in the vegetable rack but one not-very-nice mandarin orange (at least, the others of that batch were rather dry and rather bland, which is why the odd one didn't get eaten). This feels like an achievement: today's meals are in hand, and I can clean the vegetable rack. And I have ordered from the greengrocer for delivery tomorrow.
In other shopping news, since neither Ocado nor Waitrose will offer me a delivery slot, I ordered from Sainsbury's - on Sunday, for delivery also tomorrow. No wonder the students who've been told to self-isolate are complaining.
Sainbury's invited me to complate a questioonaire about my shopping experience. It included the request: Please tell us, in three or more sentences, why you were not highly satisfied with your experience.
