Yesterday was torrential rain and prolonged thunder; today is grey and cold, with promises of more rain. Let me guess - someone must be planning a barbecue!

On the bright side, we've just booked a house on Lindisfarne for a week at midsummer.

The rare days it rains here (Feb, March) we figure somebody planned an outdoor wedding, or way too many people washed their cars the day before.

But you know we're planning a barbeque! It's Candy's birthday tomorrow. We even went out in the cold, greyness of the day to buy a proper barbeque thingy rather than just use the disposable ones. So, no doubt, it'll piss down tomorrow.
