I find the dying out of synagogues upsetting, but I am glad they are being photographed, and these are really good photographs.

The best I can do is that I am uneasy about regretting the passing of something that I have not chosen to maintain. Weap it up with a whole lot of ualifications, and accept that this is about feelings rather than thoughts, but that's the gist of it.
