Skived off work yesterday to accompany Jackie to Skipton market. I'd never been before (it's further than is really sensible for a day trip) and was taken by surprise at how busy it was - a little Yorkshire town with a street market, but heaving with crowds of shoppers. There were some wonderful things to buy, and I bought some of them - though not from this stall.

Then we turned off the High Street and walked back along the canal, which offered a whole different set of pleasures...
