It's true.

I speak of hurt in some of my poetry, but it's hurt I experienced.

And yet your sympathy extends to the hurt of others, I think?

I don't have any answers here, I just thought these were good ways of expressing different ways of seeing the world (which is what it's all about, isn't it?).
