Good things don't come singly

shewhomust...which ought to be good news. But when several good things come simultaneously, you find yourself having to choose between them.
Until yesterday, next weekend seemed busy but manageable: an invitation from clients to the opening of an exhibition, a food fair at the Bowes Museum (well, that runs both Saturday and Sunday), plans to celebrate![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
samarcand's birthday before he goes on holday (not until Saturday evening)... But then durham_rambler, excavating his desk, found the brochure for the local theatre: and Martin Simpson is playing Durham next Saturday.
What could we do? We went out this morning and bought tickets...
