Weather-go-round
Feb. 19th, 2022 11:52 amOn Wednesday morning I looked out of the kitchen window and saw a rainbow.
On Wednesday afternoon storm Dudley stampeded around the rooftops and hurled rain against the attic windows.
By the time we walked down to the pub quiz on Wednesday evening the rain had stopped (hooray!): a cross-wind side swiped us at one point, but nothing too bad.
Thuesday morning was clear and bright. If the Farmers' Market hadn't been cancelled as a precaution, we might have gone - if
durham_rambler hasn't snagged a dentist's appointment.
On Friday we woke up to snow on the ground, but it soon melted. (We seem to be off the track of storm Eunice, fortunately).
So it goes. Nothing extraordinary in itself, but plenty of variety.
