Driving past the car crash

shewhomustPolitics in the UK right now are in such a state that I can't bear to look - but neither ccan I look away. I have a longish Post-in-Progress on the subject, but each say beings a new twist, s new rabbit hole to chase down. I could have liveblogged the whole unfolding story, in a breathless You'll never guess what he's done today, with every day a new snappy one-liner, a new cause for outrage, a new profound reflection on what is Wrong with how this country is run.
But I don't want to keep a full-time political blog, and it seems that this isn't a topic I can talk about other than at length. Not Whereof we cannot speak... but whereof we cannot shut up, thereof we must remain silent. So this is the sign that says Nothing to see here, just move along... to let you (and future me) know that yes, I do know what's going on.
Instead, have a pretty picture: Surfing in the Cradle of Storms. (The artist's website is too busy for my taste, but more lovely photos if you have the patience!)
