durham_rambler declined to get out of bed yesterday motning: he was feeling weak, he said. He was coughing a lot - but then, he always coughs a lot.

When I went downstairs in search of lunch, he was up, and had breakfasted. There was a report in the regional paper, he said, about a supercold, something like a cold, only worse. Isn't that man-flu? But he did a lateral flow test and declared it not-covid, which is the main thing.

By yesterday evening, I was coughing too, and overnight my nose started ro run. Probably not man-flu, then.

Fortunately there were paper hankies in this morning's Ocado delivery.
