Small change

shewhomustYesterday's fish delivery was accompanied by an apology ("Sorry, we've recalculated ...") and a 30p refund, two coins in an envelope. durham_rambler suggests I ought to quarantine the coins for a few days before using them. Not a problem: when did I last use cash? Three months ago, easily.
But I don't think the fish would be improved by quarantine, andd it has gone straight into the freezer (except for t he smoked salmon which we opened for lunch, and the sea bass we had for dinner). I know people who wipe down everyrthing that comes into the house, or put things somewhere secluded for a day or so, and occasionally I wonder whether I should do this too. But I know my limitations.
Apparently the World Health Organisation now recommends that the over-60s should wear medical-grade face masks when distancing is not possible: I'd rather take the WHO's advice than the government's. I'm beginning to wonder where appropriate masks can be obtained ...

It is was anyone else but Trump yelling about the WHO I suspect people would be more inclined to accept what a useless bunch they are!
