shewhomustThe view from our kitchen window is of a wooded hillside (it's actually the railway embankment, but easier on the eye than that suggests). Some mornings the low sun on the trees is dramatic, especially against a dark sky: durham_rambler commented that this was one of those mornings. Standing by the sink, closer to the window, I looked out, and could see what he couldn't: an arc of rainbow. And then, looking again, realised that I could see the whole bow, positioned as if by design to span my entire view.
