Mostly it's wheelie bins, discarded mattresses (don't know why - it's not end of term yet) and recycling that's not collected because it's been put out in the wrong place. But one tree in someone's back yard raises the tone, with its bright leaves and berries:

The local authority here, in a rare moment of lucidity, planted maples in all the local car parks and public spaces some years back...........
