The film has clearly been made by people who care about the comic, and they have gone further than I would ever have anticipated in translating its ideas to the screen; but it's still a mass market movie first and foremost - more action, more romance and less political analysis than the comic.
But I shall look forward to seeing your reaction to the comic!
