Please tell me this is a spoof
Jul. 13th, 2017 03:28 pmIn the Guardian (where else?), taste testing home made posh crisps. I can't decide which is my favourite quotation from the article:
What do you think?
- Their size and fragility mean they’re not as filling as a real crisp, but they could work well as a crisp amuse-bouche before proper crisps are served.
- Because the idea of healthy crisps appeals to everyone.
- In terms of taste it’s right up there with the radish.
What do you think?

Date: 2017-07-13 07:43 pm (UTC)I'm with you on the beetroot, though - and I note that if you put out a bowl of vegetable crisps, beetroot is always the first to vanish (its colour makes this very obvious). Whereas crisping parsnip seems to accentuate its scented soap qualities.
Someone, in other words, has very odd tastes. Unless the whole thing is a spoof.
