Another hailstorm, with thunder and lightning, as we drove back from Newcastle to Durham this evening. Fortunately it had stopped by the time we got home.

It's true that July has barely started, and that I alway feel a bit of an anti-climax after midsummer - and also that I often prefer fine autumn weather to high summer, so take no notice of me!
