Delayed by headwinds, and collecting a hire car at the airport was a bit of a faff, but we are now at the Best Western Silicon Valley, where the man on the desk recognised us: "Weren't you here two, three years ago?" - which we were, of course - and I recognised him, too.

Hee! Now I'm all curious as to what you could possibly be saying...

Had one of those days today whereby I started working as soon as I got up (ok, as soon as I'd had a cup of tea) and kept moving all day. I even had meself a good workout on the trash-picked eliptical. It was glorious.

I'm also still doing the crushed raw garlic. It seems to be keeping the scratchy throat from progressing into anything worse. Also keeps away the vampires.
