It's a cold rainy May Day, not a day for taking a holiday and going out to photograph bluebells...

I am at work, and have just uploaded the Poem of the Month to a client's website: it's a rather wonderful meditation on quinces and maturity.

You've just reminded me that quinces are in season. It may be late night here, but I'm dreaming of all kinds of food, because winter has come early. We might even get some snow over the weekend.
