If I were to post here every time said art historian sent me a LOLcat, none of us would ever get anything done, but these Famous Paintings Improved With Fat Cats are something special. At last, a plausible explanation for the Mona Lisa's smile, a very wonderful musician with a lute, and at the foot of the page, last but I think best, Hopper's Nighthawks will never be the same again.

More on the site from which they are all taken, fatcatart.ru - I particularly recommend Uccello's Saint George feeds the Winged Cat with organic food.

Oh dear, these made me giggle myself silly. We may need to link to those at [livejournal.com profile] theboringclub. With a reference to you as our art guide, off course, if you kindly allow so much?

Thanks so much. That´s very nice, I feel we need a new catty club feline badly at the moment. As in those cafés where one can have cat(s) away from home. Am not sure cats ought to do art but that goes for many an artist as well. Perhaps art is only for obese cats or at least it seems so.
