It's funny; I completely understand the sentiment of 'roll on' but I don't think that Ameri-speak has an exact equivalent. I think that we'd say something more like, 'Come on, spring!' or 'spring can't come soon enough!'.
Speaking of which, we had a fabulously unseasonably warm day yesterday (60F and sunny) and I celebrated by working on my laptop outside and hanging laundry on the line. The ground actually started to thaw! But winter isn't finished here yet; it'll be back to 27F by the weekend. Yesterday was just a lovely window into things to come.
