- an amateur and only occasional translator, but still, someone who from time to time attempts to translate from one language to another -

the message I take away from the Big Reveal in last night's Doctor Who is that even with the immense technical know-how behind time travel and the electronic screwdriver, even with all the resources of the TARDIS herself, computer translation is still a very approximate business.

And that's fine by me.
