Oct. 22nd, 2021 06:10 pmYesterday we visited Broom House Farm, which is where we buy most of our meat (and other things beside). The sun was streaming in through the open door onto this display, and although I hadn't brought my camera, very obligingly photographed it for me:

I bought a potimarron (that's the orange teardrop. also known as hokkaido squash, apparently, though not in this house). Now I have to decide how to cook it: soup, possibly, or pie? Or both?
