Packing (possibly TMI)

Went downstairs to ask durham_rambler a) to help choose a birthday card and b) whether it was time for a cup of coffee, and found him busy making coffee (hooray!) and washing through his face-flannel, which tends to become clogged up with soap. "You have other flannels, toss that one in the wash," I said. He poured boiling water into the coffee cups, and wandered off with the kettle. I added milk, and set off upstairs again with my coffee, but as I passed the bathroom I saw durham_rambler poised over the sink, pouring water from the kettle onto his flannel with one hand, while with the other he prodded it with his toothbrush.

He has as good as dared me to blog this, so...
