I wouldn't want anyone to get the impression that durham_rambler never does any ironing. Why, only yesterday he ironed the OS map which had fallen in the Stanhope Burn.

No,
They rather flattened us. It was a 190 metre climb (623 feet in old money) back to the car from the 'alleged ford'.

No, I'm afraid not. I did however develop a hankering for the old OS maps which were canvas-backed and could take this kind of treatment.
