I was trying to work out what Billy and Charleys were, after your comment the other day. That is a terrible thing for a burglar to steal. I've wanted some for *years* (I knew them, not their nickname).

My father was in the antique trade, and when he came across one, he gave it to me - I had three in the end, of which one was large and polished to destruction. I loved them dearly, and mourn them still.

Which informs my sympathy for your burglary...
