A GP's perspective

Gavin Francis in the Guardian, watching the pandemic arrive. Content warning is implicit in that description, but I found his measured and matter-of-fact account oddly soothing.

Context: after several nights of waking in the small hours, and lying there worrying, I slept almost continuously through last night, and woke up feeling refreshed - only to be ambushed by those small-hours worries at breakfast time. So it goes.
