Hamlet murder mysteries

I've been reading jill Paton Walsh's The Bad Quarto, and thinking about Hamlet murder mysteries - not Hamlet itself seen as murder mystery (despite Thurber's suggestion), but crime novels which centre on a production of the play. In addition to The Bad Quarto, there's Jo Walton's Ha'penny, whose cross-cast production had me so fascinated that I caught myself hoping that events would not come to a head before I had had a chance to enjoy the first night. Then there's Michael Innes' Hamlet, Revenge!, which I've read but about which I remember nothing. But why can't I find anything by Ngaio Marsh? Several of her books are set in theatres, she directed at least one production of Hamlet - did she really never write about it?

I don't remember a Marsh novel with Hamlet connections either.

I have to say that Hamlet, Revenge! is my favourite Innes (though The Daffodil Affair runs it close) and the one I re-read most often.

Clearly it's time I re-read it! I'm particularly fond of The Daffodil Affair and Appleby's End.
