I'm enjoying Shetland. I get the feeling that it's a real community where real people (each of them a bit odd in their own way) live. I like the rather crumpled detective who reminds me a bit of Krister Henriksson.

Will try to catch Trapped - I haven't seen any Icelandic detective fiction yet though I did read a book by Arnaldur Indriðason which was so bleak that I haven't tried any more. If you can recommend any less bleak I would be willing to give it another go.
